How to use this page
- Your name. You're already signed in from the Admin home page. Check your name or initials in the box below: they are saved with everything you do, so the team can see who did what.
- Find what needs doing. Use the figures at the top (each one is a shortcut) or the filters. "Live list: Waiting for review" shows services not yet live. "Team changes: Not yet decided by the team" shows everything nobody has decided on. "Sort by: Waiting for review first" puts them at the top.
- Decide. In each service's "Team decision" box choose:
- Include on the live list: shown on the finder and given to the AI.
- Needs further review: kept off the live list until someone checks it.
- Exclude completely: kept off for good, for example closed, not in Kirklees, not a service, or a duplicate.
- Correct or complete details. "Edit details" opens a form with the service's details. Boxes still saying "To be completed" are highlighted: a service can't go live until they're filled in. Say what changed and why, and tick "I have checked these details are current" if you checked them with the provider or its website. Your changes show on the service, old and new, until they're applied, and can be discarded.
- Add a missing service. "Add a service" (above the list) opens an empty form. Say where the service came from and why it should be added. The page warns you if it looks like one already listed. It then appears as "New: not yet in the data", and the team reviews, edits and decides on it like any other. A new service never goes live unless the team decides to include it.
- Going live. Everything is saved for the team straight away, but the finder itself only changes when the team's changes are applied. Press Apply changes now (under the sign-in box): the changes are checked, and if they pass they go live on the finder, the AI and the printable directory in about 3 minutes. If the check fails, nothing goes live and the page says so. Until then you'll see "waiting to be applied". Changes that clash with something changed since, or that break the data rules, are held back and listed for Phil to sort out.
Please don't put personal or identifying information in reasons or notes. To see a service's file and its history, open its "Full details" and use the GitHub links.
Review, edit and add services
Enter the team passcode to decide on services, edit their details and add new ones. Without it you can still search and read everything. One passcode for all the Admin pages. You stay signed in until you close this browser tab. Don't have it? Ask Phil.
Saved with each decision, edit and new service.
Everything you save is shared with the team straight away. It reaches the live finder when the team's changes are applied (Phil: Actions > Apply team changes on GitHub, then merge), so "waiting to be applied" means saved but not live yet. See "How to use this page" above.
